Technology and Fair Elections in Pakistan

2013 Elections in Pakistan ended with many proofs of rigging, and alleged many of the top slot leaders. Majority of rigging noticed was in Karachi where people were forced to stay outside the polling station and some unlawful activity carried out inside the polling stations.
Although Pakistan Army and Rangers were deployed for security but due to lack of strength in election commission there was huge rigging appeared.

This time a record turnout in 2013 elections noticed that was more than 60%. Violence in this regards also raised and resulted in killing of hundred of people. Law enforcement agencies failed to provide complete security and peace during elections.
Now debates started on media, social networking sites and in local community to come up with such polling system that rigging may be minimized. There are so many suggestions coming up and most favourable and internationally seen system is use of technology for casting vote.
Technology has viable solution for ending rigging levels from elections in Pakistan. Many software engineers and specialists also offered their services free of cost for the cause of Nation. Election commission also presented some suggestions in this regard.
If technology is been used in elections it is more likely to reduce the chances of rigging in next coming elections.
